Welcome, my name is Harry and I am a gay Korean American cis male providing individual counseling in Seattle and the surrounding areas. For California residents, I can only offer teletherapy services at this time. I am glad you are here and taking this first step on your journey towards finding help and ultimately discovering your whole self. I am unique among counselors in my ability to understand issues resulting from cultural and intergenerational conflicts as well as concerns and struggles around intersectional identities. I can help you navigate through these identities and help you discover the true you so that you may have a fuller and more exciting life experience
I graduated in 2014 with a Master's of Arts in Counseling with a specialization in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of San Diego. I provide cognitive behavioral therapy and mindful self-compassion informed therapy across the lifespan and help clients work through difficult behaviors, identity crises, and mental disorders such as depression, anxiety, and trauma. I am experienced in queer issues, trans issues, and non-monogamous and poly relationships.
I am dually licensed to practice in both Washington (LH60684311) and California (LPCC4340).
Apart from my clinical work, I am an avid traveler and I love to visit new places and experience new cultures. I am also part of the Washington Counselors of Color Network that connects clients of different ethnic backgrounds to culturally competent and aware counselors
